Electronic permit-to-work, or ePTW, is a web-based solution, accessible by a computer or mobile device, intended to replace current paper-based permitting.  

• Provides real-time visibility to current and historical permits 
• Lowers time-consuming administration of permits by allowing virtual drafting, validation and approval of permits reducing lag time before work can start.
• Automates the manually intensive parts of the permitting process, providing templates and copy functionality that enable leveraging of routine permit and isolation information, preventing duplicate entry of information.
• Identifies hazards by permit type and controls that must be in place before work can start.
• Enables simple and efficient progression of activities required of a role in the permit process​
